Bird Brand Paint & Varnish Stripper is ideal for the removal of paints polyurethane varnish and emulsion from wood and metal. A safer and less hazardous way to remove paint.
Application:
For more than 5-6 coats of paint:
- Apply a liberal and even coat and leave overnight covered with plastic film to prevent drying out.
- Due to the water content in this product, do not leave longer than the recommended time on veneered surfaces.
- Varnish, shellacs, French polish: 15-30 minutes. One application is required.
- Lacquers, polyurethane: 30-45 minutes. 2-3 applications may be required.
- Multi-layered paint: 1 hour and scrape off. Repeat process if required.
Coverage: 2-4 sqm per 500ml bottle (depending on coating and thickness)
- Test prior application in a small hidden area.
